The Indie Release (April)
Hi Friends and Members,
Did you know that as a Member of The Indie Alley you get to propose events? This month, we have our very first Member-hosted evenings.
This Sunday we have our monthly Culture Club, originally suggested by Members Kate Maclaughlin and Sharon Klein. Last month, we had a really great discussion around the podcast Ear Hustle. This month, we're talking about Jill Soloway's comedy-drama Transparent and how it feels to rewatch (or watch) this in the #metoo era.
Next week, member Jennifer Coffey is hosting an evening of Speed Coaching, which is like...err...speed dating, but with coaches who can help you start to fix that ole life of yours. Reserve a spot and figure out who you want to work with, and on what.
And in a couple of weeks, Member Brittany Nelson will be teaching us how to actually meditate. We read about it, we know its good for us, but do we do it? Nope. On the evening of May 3rd, we're bringing meditation to non-meditators (hold up your hand if that applies).
So if you aren't already, become a Member, and let us know what you'd like to make happen. We'll help you do the rest.
See you soon.

PS And don't forget, this Saturday we have our Finders and Makers Market, which this month includes Natural Knotting, Issa Pottery, Voodoo Vixen Vintage, Samantha Demesmaeker, Tina Andropoulos and Champagne Moon.
