Info Session: A Try-athalon for Non-Movers

run try athlon.jpg

Join us on Saturday morning at 10am to learn more about doing your first triathlon!

This is new for us here, but we're doing a Triathlon, an Open Triathlon. That's been designed specifically for novices, for first timers and their kids who have never before even contemplated running a Triathlon. This one features a 100-meter swim, a 3-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run and takes place in beautiful Napa Valley.

Are you in? We're hoping to field a team from The Indie Alley. We'll bring a picnic for after, You can run with your kids. And you even get a medal for participation.

Kids get a year USAT pass with participation and you can either buy a one day or year as part of the registration.

You can register for a spot here (you need to click on the HITS Open Triathlon either 7-17 years old or 18 and older). Let us know once you've signed up and we'll figure out carpooling with you.

* Inspired by Indie Alley Member Stacey Dillon whose daughter (11 at the time) asked her when she was going to do a Triathlon - “What makes you think you can’t do it? Um?!?' So basically she had no choice!!

As a Couch to Tri Gal, Stacy is leading the charge on this event and will have a coffee/training/info session on Saturday, March 10th at 10am to 11am for anyone who is interested. RSVP below!
