Join us for a special Lunch & Learn with Kris Galmarini, the co-founder of one of our favorite local brands Neve & Hawk, a California-inspired apparel brand for families by her family. Neve is her daughter, Hawk her son and her husband Bob is co-founder.
Neve & Hawk got its start in South Carolina with Kris and Bob doing what they love best -- making things. They spent their early days as parents turning out screen printed t-shirts in their master bedroom late at night.
Many t-shirts, years and a third baby later Kris and Bob are still at it. Last year, Kris launched a collective and retail space called The Alongside with other women business owners facing the same challenges of balancing motherhood and building a brand.
The juggle isn’t easy, but Kris cares deeply about designing and producing clothing ethically, and doing what she can to create community and bring a little good into this world. And, keeping it real, super real. This makes the whole family cringe some times.
