Hey to all of our peeps who identify as dudes (aka "allies" of the indie alley)!
I am really happy to FINALLY present you with an option to hang out at The Indie Annex to meet and socialize with each other. Central to the community aspect of the space is the notion that all are welcome. My favorite events tend to be when we all get together, but I do believe it's important to serve our micro communities, thusly we have the aptly named Mens’ Group.
My friend Peter Ajemian will lead the way. His mens' group meetings are held in a supportive environment to discuss current issues that affect all of us. Fathers, divorced or not, single or partnered, are all welcome to participate in any of the topics discussed. Sometimes you will do easy physical games or breathwork to become more embodied. You need not have any physical skill or capacity beyond your current condition to participate. $20 donation at the door for this mens' group. No man turned away for lack of funds.
Peter Ajemian is a community builder, educator, and martial artist for over 30 years, who is currently studying in a certificate program in Internal Family Systems psychotherapy. Peter works with groups and individuals to help them strengthen their personal confidence and awareness using somatic and other mindfulness methods.
